The Hitching Post Campground of Lake Lure, North Carolina, is located in the Hickory Nut Gorge, just minutes from such attractions  as Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and Bat Cave.  The beautiful Rocky Broad River, which feeds Lake Lure, is entertainment to fishermen, sightseers, and picnickers. This area is also host to many festivals and events, championship golf courses, fine and exotic dining, great shopping, and never-ending fun!
